Welcome to the Sharks

Home of junior AFL in the Cronulla area

Junior Aussie Rules is played in a friendly atmosphere with fully qualified umpires and coaches who are dedicated to teaching the skills of the game in a safe environment. If you live in the Cronulla/Caringbah area, the Cronulla Junior Australian Football Club is your local club.

Cronulla is a friendly, family-oriented club with a recent tradition of success. We have won eight Premierships in the past five years, including the 2008 grand final wins of our Under 14 team. However, the values and benefits that sport can bring to our youth are just as important to our club.

Cronulla is a small club but growing fast, with membership up by over 60% over the past two years. Teams include:

  • Auskick (players turning 5 to 8 years this calendar year)
  • Under 9 (players turning 9 this calendar year)
  • Under 10 (players turning 10 this calendar year)
  • Under 11 (players turning 11 this calendar year)
  • Under 12 (players turning 12 this calendar year)
  • Under 13 (players turning 12 this calendar year)
  • Under 14 (players turning 14 this calendar year)
  • Under 16 (players turning 15 or 16 this calendar year)

Rules are modified for younger age groups; for example, in Auskick no tackling is allowed. You'll find more details on the rules on our resources page.

We’re always looking for new players, sponsors, coaches/managers and others to strengthen our club. Why not contact us for more information.
