Our major fundraising event for the year, the annual adults only Trivia Night is scheduled for the 27th June at the Royal Crest Hotel, Sylvania, commencing 7.30pm. As well as being a great night out for parents & friends, last years Trivia Night saw us raise in excess of $7000, which went to purchasing a lot of new equipment (training gear, balls, new jumpers etc) for the players.
The success of last year was due to the overwhelming support we received in the form of donations of prizes & auction items from families and businesses both locally & interstate. The items that were donated ranged in price from $20 right through to $1600.
To assist in making this year a bigger success than last year, we ask that each Team donate an auction item over the value of $100.(Cash is good). Please get together with your Manager and Coach to see what your Team can come up with. As we need many small & mid priced prizes as well as the auction items, we would appreciate any other donations families or businesses might be able to make towards achieving a fun and successful evening.
Tickets this year will be $15 per head and will again include great hot & cold nibbles from the Bistro. Drinks can be purchased from the bar. Tables will be mostly seating 8-10 people, with a couple of tables of 12.
To make things easier on the night, please arrange your table names and numbers before purchasing tickets. If you want to attend but haven’t got a table of 8 please let me or Leonie or your Manager know and we’ll organise something.
To enable seating arrangements and catering, tickets need to be pre-purchased; there will be NO door sales on the night.
